My Roots
Being a skateboarder for most of my life has profoundly shaped the way I see the world—pushing me to embrace creativity, adaptability, and a mindset of endless exploration. From life-long friendships and deep discussions to moments of laughter, it’s always been about more than just skating. It’s a culture, a way of thinking, and a constant reminder to stay passionate, no matter my age.
That same drive and curiosity naturally led me to art. Inspired by the DIY spirit of skateboarding and the bold, raw creativity of skateboarder/artists like Mark Gonzales in the ‘80s, I found myself drawn to design, illustration, and mixed media. Whether I’m sketching on a tablet, experimenting with new digital tools, or layering paint onto a canvas, my work is about capturing that same energy—pushing limits, embracing imperfections, and always evolving.
